Thursday I was testing some targets that I plan to advertise and practicing long range shooting. I practice because I don't get a hit on every shot and practice will make perfect one day. But these videos give me something to review so that I can improve my skills. Though I would share it with ya'll. I was fighting the wind a little, but that's what makes shooters get better. We're not going to be shooting in a vacume, so we won't get better at dealing with the wind if we don't practice in it. The 800 yard target is a piece of 3/8" AR 500 8" tall x 10" wide. The 900 yard is 10" tall by 12" wide.

Nicely done.

Chronoed those loads several times. Usually have an ES of about 10 to 15 fps.

I don't know if you've shot that far so figive me if you already know this; what looks like an elevation problem is my wind hold being wrong on the missed shots because the bullet is impacting way more verticle than horizontal at that range

Nice shooting! Is that a private range or a club range?

It's a private range I have to set up and tear down targets every time I go out. That's why I'm on the hunt for some land to build a thousand yard range and start a club.
