I have a good friend who hunts in Jack county he said closest town is Olney. He has only seen 1 deer in 4 full weekend trips this year and said they usually see quite a few more deer. The only deer killed on the lease was a spike opening morning of gun season. My question is has anyone else in jack county had the same results or are you seeing your normal amount of deer? Im just trying to figure out if it is his property or that area in general.

My buddy said they recently planted oats on two property's around his lease maybe that played a part in the lack of deer seen on his property

We're just south of Antelope and everyone has done pretty good. I've only shot 2 (buck & doe) 'cause I'm lazy! I can tell you with some degree of certainty that my eyelids do not have any holes in 'em!

If he is in Jack Co and the nearest town is Olney he is close to my place..I have seen atleast one deer every time I have hunted and usually atleast 4 to 10 deer..I have however only seen one mature buck and decided to pass on him..I feel our pig problem has really effected what we see..Oh and we are a very small place bordered by big ranches.

Same story at my lease. A couple of the guys shot a doe or two and some spikes. I've gone out some weekends to see nothing and have some where I see 1 or 2.
I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.

Im hunting in Jermyn and have been seeing good deer all season. Taken 2 bucks and one huge boar hog. Several other lease members have killed good bucks as well.

I have seen several young bucks and a few does, but not near as much as the past few years. There seem to be a lot more coyotes this year, I have shot 3, and seen several others. I am think it is a combination of the coyotes, hogs and the fire back in March.

I saw a few little bucks and a couple of Turkey's this year but didn't get the chance at a mature buck. I'm between Olney and Loving.

I've seen, in range and on camera, several legal bucks but the ones that gave me shots were younger than I wanted to shoot. Then there were the busted up ones. It was a good season though. Young County for me though.
