Leica 10x42 Geovids. Love them. Do not have to carry binos and a range finder. I have also a pair of WindRivers, Nikon, Steiners, and Leupolds also and none were as good as the Leicas.

If you spend a lot of hours looking thru them then your eyes will thank you for buying the best glass you can afford.

Nothing more useless than cheap glass. Best money I have spent was on my Steiner 10x42 predators last year

Kahles 8X42.
Have a few others but the Kahles are by far the best I own, of Steiner, Leupold, Nikon and Minox

Depends on what I'm hunting. Out of deer blinds, Leica 10x42 mostly. Sometimes a Pentax WP 10x50. For turkey hunting in the spring, I like less magnification, so I carry a B&L Elite 7x36.
On a brown bear hunt this fall, I used a Zen-Ray 8x43.....really impressive. For caribou last fall in bright daylight, I had a compact bino, a Zeiss Victory 10x25. For most of my sheep, I used a mid-sized glass, a B&L Discoverer 10x28 (love these and wish they were still available). At my breakfast table here at home sits a Weaver Grand Slam 10x45--for watching my 2 feeders out back.
I'm really not married to one bino, but I like the Leica for its performance and ergonomics best, and I'll probably take it with me this spring to POW Island for blackies.

I use stieners 12x40s.Each eye piece is adjustable so you set them for your eyes and dont have to refocus everytime you look at something.Saves seconds when seconds count.
If it's not overkill then it's underachievement.

i have a cheap, $100 pair of red head pursuits in 10x42.
stuff dissapears from my truck constantly, i've had 3 pairs stolen and won't buy a good set.
they are cheap, i don't get eye fatigue and are pretty good for the money.
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Zeiss Conquest 12x42
Excellent low light viewing. Good ergonomics. Relatively light weight.
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

I use the most expensive ones available that week. We all know you can't get it done with cheaper glass.

Burris 10X42 and Nikon 12x50
They seem to work quite well.

Leupold 10x42 for hunting and Nikon 10-22x50 for long range stuff and just general looking.
Agree on quality, if its in my eye I don't want to strain.
Big ones line-up, little ones bunch-up

I use a pair of Buffalo Brand 10x50 binos from the '50s. They were my Dad's. Also have a small pair to carry in my pockets when still hunting.
