Hi everybody, I'm going hunting down in South TX Monday and I'm in need of some snares for coyotes. I don't believe an online order will get here by Friday.
I planned on calling feed stores tomorrow, but I hoped y'all could point me in the right direction. I'd like to get my hands on a few dozen, but I'll take what I can get.

Just get yourself some thin wire and make one. Easy and cheap.

Mumme's in SA or Hondo or Pearsall should have them. Call them at 1-800-221-6398.

Thanks guys,
I've been thinking about making my own, but I'll have company this weekend and my latest batch of beer will be finished, so I don't know how much work I'll actually accomplish before monday.

I'll give Mumme's a call today, and possibly swing by on my way down south.

There are videos on youtube for step by step instructions on how to make them. Very easy to do.

Unfortunately, the hunt was moved up to Friday, so making them is out of the question now. I put a new AR 18" barreled BCM upper together over christmas, and I'll be sighting/breaking it in tomorrow.

A quick stop by Home depot or Lowes will get you everything you need. They can be made in a matter of 5-10 minutes. Could even buy the stuff on the way and make when you get there.

They will cut the cable to the length you need.super simple really.

thanks, I'm going to stop by mumme's tomorrow, but I'll go by home depot in a few and pick up some snare supplies just in case.
