Today was the first time I went out solo with my one year old lab Calvin. This is my first year out duck hunting; as it is for Calvin. He hunted pheasants in S.D. this November and did decent for his first year hunting. After today I am very happy with him. First hunt solo, First limit of ducks, and Calvin retrieved every bird with no issues; even chased down a cripple.  Needless to say I have the duck hunting bug! awesome. I will not go hunting with out my dog, It makes a solo hunt alot more fun
JUST HERE TO HAVE A GOOD TIME I dont understand people that dont duck hunt
