Why would anyone ever leave guns unsecured?

I wouldn't call it being inside a locked vehicle "unsecured" but then again I'm not from the city either-this stuff is one reason why.

That SUX!!!
If i have to go inside somewhere I'll pull right up to the front door, turn it off and lock the doors. Usually won't stop though if I'm by myself. I hate the thought of someone breaking into my ride.

x2. Had two ARs stolen out of my truck in front of my office. FWPD officer said locked and cased guns taken out of a locked truck was not my fault.

I hate 3 things..... a Thief, a Liar, and a dam ball point pen that wont wright. you ran into the first one and the cop that showed up probably had the third one.

Cable lock through the gun and seat frame. Do it anytime I have rifles and stop somewhere. Or just go home first.

Explain how it's a stupid question.

It's not his fault the truck was broken into, however it's his fault they were stolen.

Because it is. It's inflammatory and ridiculous. Had the OP said he parked and left the windows down and the guns in plain sight that would be different. leaving guns behind locked doors is hardly leaving them unsecured.

Apparently they weren't secured since they were stolen.
