Probably ought to know this but don't.

Where does son get his does' skins processed?? (does - does', teehee)

Hunted last weekend at Kothmann Ranch btw Kerrville & Junction. First season JW has been there and though there is a variety of animals (white tail, axis, fallow, aoudad, etc.) most aren't mature. Hunting pressure was pretty high prior to this year. The group of us got a couple nice axis and a very nice white fallow and want to get the skins processed for throws. The highschoolers who took care of the game for us said everyone gets that done "in Houston" but couldn't tell us the name of the people or company. Nor, did they have any idea what the cost is.

Help please.

Have the skins in the freezer at son's house south of Waco so pretty centrally located in the state.

Called a couple taxidermists here in the DFW metromess but they wouldn't say where they send things to be processed/tanned and the prices were pretty high.

I had 2 WT hides tanned with hair-on at WB Place in Wisconsin. Found them on the net and they were very good with decent prices I think ($50/hide).

Here is the website.

Hope that helps! This was easy.
