So I'm getting an upper from brandon90210 soon and I'm looking for a scope. I want to stay under $300. I'm looking for a scope that will be good mostly for hunting. Te farthest shot I will ever take is 500 yards. I would like to have a mil dot reticle and I think matching mil turrets instead of MOA. What say you?

for mil-mil Nikon check with SWFA, usually beat Midway prices especially if thar one on the sample list. Plus a couple of their guys are forum members

In that price range, nikon is probably the best deal. Probably something with at least 9x or more max zoom
I also agree that u should look at SWFA. Very VERY prompt service everytime I've dealt with them. And there are a couple guys here on the forum who are always willing to answer questions.

I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

Ok on swfa all I have found is mil dot with 1/4 MOA adjustments. Does Nikon make mil adjustments?

Other than a heck of a deal on a use scope I can't think of a mil/mil scope on that price range, add another $100 and you can get what you're looking for.

A falcon menace would be right up that alley for around $390 and you'll get FFP

I'm just going to say, you'll never regret spending good money on good glass.

Good luck.
