Depending on the quality of the build and if the barrel is the factory barrel or a custom replacement.

Without pics?????
My gut feel is somewhere around $300 to $350.

Value is always hard to determine. How is the bore, the rifling? How does the rifle perform? It is pretty unusual to have a worn out barrel in these rifles. They will have wear but generally shoot well.
The old scope will probably gather very little light so I would change it if I were using it as a hunting rifle. In other words, it really doesn't add value.
I think it is probably an excellent hunting rifle but doesn't command a high price. Probably about $300.

$300 is around what I would think is acceptable. Just curious but where did you find this rifle? It looks a lot like a partially complete rifle I sold on here a while back.

Is a spotter stock what you're wanting.

When you decide on a price I might be interested.
I have one very similar to this that my grandfather had made. It is the sweetest shooting 30-06 I have ever shot.

I wouldn't replace the stock I would refinish it and replace the recoil pad with a solid one. If it's an oil finish a little naphtha and 000 steel wool will strip off the gunk and bring out the wood color. After drying a light coat of linseed oil rubbed in will make it shine.
for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype
