Thinking about getting one. What model does everyone use and what do you think of them?

Well, every pack fits a little different. Some people think the Badlands are THE best for a day or extended day pack, while others can get by with an el cheapo fieldline pack. I guess a lot depends on how you intend to use it. If you're actually going to be packing any sort of weight, a hike-in hunt or whatever, you better make sure it fits you well. There are many options out there, even several different Badlands packs. You can also look at Eberlestock and some others. TO BE TOTALLY HONEST, if you just want something to haul your stuff to and from the blind, there are MANY low price options. I even bought a no-name pack on ebay a few years ago that is actually a pretty decent hunting pack. Usually it's right at home...in my GARAGE!
For a pack that is bigger than a fanny pack, not as big as a daypack, there are some Camelbak packs that are pretty nice, and Gerber is also making some packs that cater to the hunter.
Hope that helps!
