Got one. It works. Don't like the battery life so I went ahead and set it up with a 6 volt deer feeder battery. Works longer now and saves me a lot of cash on batteries. Not to mention the waste.

Make your own on the cheap with a small amplifer and outdoor speaker from Radio Shack. Then just attach it to your MP3 player. Made mind for $20. Works just as good. Free calls all over the internet

Free calls all over the internet Yeah, except there's no remote, so you're limited to holding it in your lap or not having the ability to adjust it if you leave it out in front of you.

Forgot to say that it sure beats blowing constantly on a call. Although I carry those too.

I saw an ad for a new one called the wildfire for 100 dollars more at cabealas that looks like it has a lot more features. I like my spitfire though.

I got one. Its hillarous when you use the calf distress call and all the cows start mooing and hauling a$$ to the sound. Great entertainment.

just a tip... check foxpro's website for refurb'd ones. i think the spitfire is 150 plus shipping.
it would be perfect for night hunting and your setup. it works just fine, killed plenty of critters with my old one and know plenty others that have to.

Yes, it really works,I was down towards El Campo at a friends place, just messing around and I mentioned about cows lining the fence when you turn on the calf in distress call. We drove over to another pasture of his and fired it up and penned some cattle he had been unsucessful trying to pen for sometime with hay and cubes. Kitten in distress drives my barn cat crazy.
