I have had no luck finding a leease. i was wondering what the general thought on good ole fashion going ranch to ranch to see if i could pay them to hunt. Any thoughts (or on this forum any insults)

Kinda hard to find the owners. A lot do not live at the ranch, or live in the interior.

I wonder if a stop at the "local" feed stores might be a good place to start? When I was in south Texas on an aoudad hunt we stopped in a local eatery and the cook told us her husnand could steer us to some aoudad. We didn't bite but it would have been a lead. confused2

Your going to have more luck in the upcoming 2 or 3 months as seasons end and people are making the decision to stay or leave. For example we maybe loosing people on our lease or they may stay we have no idea at the moment. Every year someone says that's it they're leaving, and then they pony up for another go round.
