Well I didn't want to add to firefigher2's post so here is mine.

Looking for an registered Lab to breed with our Yellow Lab. She will be cycling at the end of march/first of april. Would prefer someone within 2hrs or so of the Rockwall area. She is 3yrs old, AKC/UKC registered, will have all the health tests for breeding in January. Absolutely a great family and hunting dog. Her true passion is retrieving, and anyone that sees her will realize that. I've had multiple people tell me when she's bred they would like a puppy, so it looks like that time is getting near.

I'm probably posting this a little early for some. But I'd like to find a few good candidates and have some time to make some visits to see the Sire and Owner to see how things mesh. Not looking to just find a stud, send her off, and get her back. Want to see what the stud is like before hand to have an idea of the potential offspring.

Reply on here or pm me for my cell. I've got a few pics I can send via txt and more through email. Thanks guys and gals.

I have a yellow male that is a Master Hunter and has some Qual placements. Here is a link to some more info on him:

http://stillwaterretrievers.com/studs.htm

I havent updated the info in a couple years so it still shows him as a SH opposed to a MH. He is AKC/UKC registered and I'm located in Sachse which is about 20 minutes from Rockwall. Let me know if you have any questions.

I have a few on my web-site that would fit the bill..

I also have a new yellow that I will be getting clearances done on that is out of NAFC Grady and a MH/QAA female that is a litter mate to 7FC's.

What clearances have you had done on your female??

Angie

I have a black male that is a MH. He passed the 2012 Master National and is 1 pass away from qualifying for the 2013 MN. He is also QAA with 10 All Age points and an Open win.

Git'R will be running the Master National next week in Kansas. He already has two passes towards the 2014 MN. Last month he won the SRS event in Hinckley, MN and will be running in the Crown Championship in November.

There's a bunch of nice dogs that drop into the state come October. That's when the pro's are all back from the north.

Easisest way to scout lots of talent for your gal is visit a hunt test or two and network with some folks. You get to watch lots of dogs run and thier basic pedigree is in the program. Also helpful to get with someone near you that can guide you in the process of selection. People like Tioga Retrievers that have lots of experience can save you some time and heartache.
I'm a little ways from you but there are a couple of boys on my website at stud in case you'd like to check them out.

My dog:

AFC Grindstone's Lethal Weapon

Sire: FC Merlyn
Dam: Grindstone's Marie Laveau (Code Blue x Kweezy)

Very nice dog. EIC & CNM Clear. Hips OFA excellent. Jam'd first Open at 2 1/2, titled @ 4 years.

Very hard charger, straight lines, not a mean bone in his body.

He will be back in Texas first part of October.

Eddie Noga at Zion Kennels has a Master National Hall Of Fame Yellow out of FC/AFC Rebel With A Cause. I believe he is in his website... I seen him run and he is a great dog and looks great!
