I'm posting this for a buddy of mine that got an AR in a trade, he doesn't really want to keep it and was wondering how much he could get for it. Probably $20 bucks. Send me payment instructions and I will get him squared away. Seriously though, not sure man. Personally would put it on gunbroker with no reserve. Sounds risky, but its not really. Will get a good price I bet. I had an MRF 308 listed in the classifieds for 170, didn't get any action. Put it on gunbroker and it got 220 in three days.

Haha, I'll tell him.
He doesn't know much about selling guns so he probably wants to try local first to see if he gets any hits, with gun broker you have to ship to a FFL and sometimes ship from a FFL of course you know this. He would like to try local for sure first though.

Price out the parts on the internet, go with low price not including shipping, and price it at 80% of that. If the gun is not in new condition more like 75%. That is a rough starting point. Some build components hold there value better that other and brand to brand. Best thing is to start at an asking price and start looking at offers.
