Wow...4 limits of green heads...nice. Who's the guy with all the duck bands in the second pic? Are those real? I don't even think JJ has that many bands.

Wow...that's clever. I just have a hard time believing a guy that looks fairly young has shot so many birds with bands on them. I guess it could be done I just wanted him to explain it. I really don't think it's such a crazy question...I mean anyone that sees a pic of a lanyard filled with that many bands has to be curious.

I am fortunate enough to have bagged every one of those bands, I have the luxury of being able to hunt most days due to my work schedule..........Shot my first band at the age of 18 and decided then this was the sport for me.......

I am 37 now, and still enjoy it like when I was 18..........

The key to shooting bands is to kill Mallards, you have the highest odds when you set your sights for them...........

Well done...that's pretty awesome. I figured you for early 30s based on that pic. So if you've been hunting all these years that's like one a year...which is still super impressive. I counted 19 but it looks like there might be a 20th one up high on your left shoulder.

Sorry...I'm a little obssessed with bands...I've never got one and want one reeeeeeeeeeealy bad!

Nice M.M., I've got a bunch of catching up to do this year, now I can focus on the ducks finally.

LOL...no thanks. The first band I get will more than likely stay on the duck and go up on my wall. I don't really care about the "show-off" factor...to me it's just a personal goal.

You sure do look like that Mad Mallard fellow on the Refuge.

Why don't you post pictures there? Are you one of them moderators over there?

Yeah ....the camera takes pics by itself wading in knee deep water.

I see three different guys in those two pics and I'd be willing to bet there was a 4th....
