Jim Is a legend and has done more for blackpowder hunter than anyone on here combined. I watch his shows like all the time. Very professional.

At least he hunts wild animals. I am tired of watching hunting shopws where these guys are in a hunting preserve. They act like they did something spectacular. Hell, anyone can shoot something in a pen.

The thing that always tickles me is the host is whispering to the cameraman "after" the shot! Dude, you just cranked off a 300 win mag, why you whispering now?

Hot dang guess there's 3 of us on here that still like females! I like hunting and I like females...call me strange! Sounds like most folks on here don't like television(there's a off button on remote...get your kids to explain it to you),don't like other guys making LOTS of money doing what we only hope to do a few days a year, obviously like standing around cabin or fire comparing their"gun" with other men in camo...that about covers it,now fire away boyscouts! duel

Brayden (Lazy L's Southern Comfort) you will be missed! You were more than a pet you were my reason to rise and return for many days! You were my rock!

i definitley dont like Shocky, but then again, most of the popular hosts get on my nerves. Some of the shows are entertaining, but there's so much editing that goes on its ridiculous. im priddy sure with a camera and some editing software i could make it look like i could call deer up with a pair of sticks and a paper towel tube.

gonna hide out in the bottoms, where i hunted deer and turkey, i know that swamp like the back of my hand-Chris Knight

I actually feel that Jim Shockey provides the most entertaining hunting show on today. I've seen him hunt yak north of the Artic Circle, Ibex in Pakistan, and Red Stag in the Scottish Highlands. Each hunt you can tell he works very well with his guides.

During the Ibex hunt, his cameraman lost his balance on a road overlooking a 3000 foot drop, the cameraman fell about 100 feet, was severely injured and hospitalized for almost a month. One entire show was about the cameraman.

When you read about his background and where he came from to get where he is today...I think Jim Shockey is a class act.

All I have to see in his Bio is:

He is the first and only hunter in the world to complete the “NORTH AMERICAN SUPER SLAM” and “ULTIMATE SLAM” using only a muzzleloader

The guy is a muzzleloader stud

Look at Jim's class act family, father, wife, kids, all super people...I think some people are just jealous of his lifestyle.

I dont care for him. Know nothing about him, just dont care for him. He has an air about him that rubs me wrong.

Now I will sit and watch Tiff with the sound off. BUt I get tired of her too.

As a side note, we went to the Trophy Hunters Extravaganza in San Antonio in 2010 when her and Lee were there. She is much better looking in person than on TV.

He's got one of the better shows and he's been there and done that with all types of critters. Don't mind the babes if they are more than dressing which 99.9% are. If guided hunts are your way of hunting, I think he's one of the best out there.

WRONG: He was at Gray Castle just 2-3 weeks ago hunting behind a high fence.

And? Do you think he was also behind a high fence in Mongolia, Siberia, The Himalayas,,,,, By and large he hunts fair chase. But then again he can afford to hunt whatever he wants to. I would be willing to bet his faire chase kils outnumber his pen kills by a very wide margin. Now Uncle Ted on the other hand,,,,

Ted nugent and Michael waddell both suck. Jim shockey is probably the greatest hunter in the world next to Chuck Adams
