Im gonna give it a shot... This band of rain just sat on us the entire day. Never stopped and I didn't even hunt. HOping to get in the tree stand tom morning. WIth the heavy rain and stiff wind hopefully they didn't get to move around to much and tom will be a productive day. Going to sit for as long as I can stand and hope 1 of the 3 bucks I have on the hit lists presents me a shot.

Anybody else looking forward to the morning?

Will be there again. Not getting much activity in cameras during light and most if the does have vanished.

I'm not. Our camp is a muddy freakin' mess with nowhere to get out of the rain. I decided to stay home and help momma with chores, christmas tree, lights, etc. I'll go Wed/Thurs.

Will be out there again. Set out all day from10 am until 6. Best hunt I've had all season. Saw a good 8 that busted my brother earlier this season while bow hunting. So I walked back to camp grabbed my bow and set up off his trail from 2:30 until 6. Saw a good young 9 but the old 8 never came back through. Rained all day and it was actually relaxing. Only thing that kept me going was memories of the biggest buck I ever harvested in weather just like this.

Yes sir ours was a sloppy mess. Hoofed it in to avoid rutting up the roads. That tends to piss off ranchers if it's avoidable.

Nope. Been having more evening movement so I might hunt tomorrow even if the weather lets me. I'm not real keen on bowhunting in the rain. Hard to blood trail. I'm not ready to break the rifle out yet.

I'll be there again in the morning. Put a fat doe in the freezer this morning and took the rest of the day off. Hopefully the cold will get the big boys up and moving.

Hunting in the afternoon. My son and I drove 8 hours to hunt a farm in Kansas. Pretty excited!
