what is the deal on the oryx, are they really going on the endangered list, i was told after the first you would have to get a speacial tag, is this true,

No one has a clue I do a lot of scimitar hunts and I've tried contacting everyone and anyone. Most usfws don't even know what an oryx is, mind u its their legislation. Anyhow it could be next month, 6months,2 yrs

what is the deal on the oryx, are they really going on the endangered list, i was told after the first you would have to get a speacial tag, is this true, Nothing announced yet. USFWS has the option to adjust the ruling before making it final based on the public comments received. As Jorge mentioned, we're on government time now, so who knows when it gets resolved. EWA has already filed suit in anticipation that the ruling won't be favorable for the industry.

They are killing them like crazy here in south Texas no one wants to be stuck with them if you do have to get a cites permit. We killed the last female a few weeks ago and are down to two males just in case. We are tired of the guessing whats going to happen with the scimitars and are thinking of getting gemsbok.
