Im in the same boat, looking for info as well. Would like to go to NM just cause I can drive there, but may end up going to Maine

Try Stony Brook Outfitters in Maine. Very good lodging,food,people and awesome Bear hunts. Does Dogs and baits in Maine and Baits in New Brunswick. I went out with Bob. Dog Hunt. First day,split chase,two hunters,two bears first 2 hours. Baited hunters all went home with Bears except one. He is a hard working guide with excellant assistance.
