We are less than a mile from you. We have one place that is on Bennett Creek( across from cemetery and north about 1/2 mile) We also have a couple of places just across 575 that is the backside of Huckaby mountain. My family has been in this area for over 100yrs.

I hunt off of 575 and 249 in caraidan. So far this year it has been real slow only seeing small bucks. We have alot on the game cams but they are not comming out when we are there and it seems the does have disappeared. I would like to meet some of the hunters around me so if yall meet up I am in.

texkbc, any of your family part of the Williams or Reynolds families? My relative is Dell Williams, he grew up there in the rock house behind the high fence.

Hunted yesterday morning and evening deer are still moving pretty good and rut activity is still going on.

Hunted last weekend, Sunday morning before the wind picked up again I had 11 does visit my area. Not one buck came through, I think the first round of the rut is over folks.
