The man that has the place beside it and some more land down the road where he lives said the landowner beside his place where he lives has seen a bunch at his feeder but not many deer. He shot 2 already. The high fence ranch across the road had quite a few different exotics escape a few yrs back. Oh well there loss my gain. Just hope some of the other escapes show up.

They will push deer off a feeder and compete with them pretty hard. Last place I hunted that had them we were instructed to shoot everyone we saw just like the hogs and yotes. Killed as many as a dozen of them in a day on that place and had days where I shot 20+ hogs. Sure miss that place.

They're fun to hunt out in wide-open places.

Killed a few, they all tasted very good. Never talked to anyone that actually ate one and didn't like it...most naysayers say that they "heard they are not good to eat". The meat is a little tough, you need to tenderize the steaks. Try it, you may be surprised!
Good trophy you have there. Congrats!

Nice ram you shot. Make room on the wall for him.

Concerning the meat. I have shot three over the years and processed all of them. Steaks (tenderized), roasts, hamburger, chili, stew cut, all types of sausage, and even did jerky. Nothing was wasted or turned down. I hope my Nephews eventually shoot one.

With the Aoudads they present another hunting opportunity. Just properly manage them and keep them in check. If you feel the need to remove them then let some youth hunters do the work for you. The smiles and thanks are well worth it.

Psalm 3:3 - But you, O LORD, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.
