missing is just unethical.. could have just as easily been a gut shot or a shot taking off it's bottom jaw. Not only should you burn this year's tags you should also burn next year's to clear your conscience.
Also if a group of teal come in to the decoys and you shoot 3 times and get feathers you should burn 3 of your teal tags so they can't roll over to the next season.

 Sometimes I wonder if it will get to the point you bring an attorney with you out hunting.

How do you know you didn't knock Grandpa off his bike a mile away? Burn your license, determine the EXACT path of the errant bullet, recover said bullet, and turn in your Man Card.

I would call the game warden and let him know of the nonsense you commited....he will burn the appropiate tags for you.

You have tags left?? I woulda thought you done already burned through them all at the range, before the start of the season!

someone told me that if they missed a deer, they would always throw a tag away. i though he was crazy. he told me alot of people will burn a tag if they miss.
BTW. i dont miss!

Typically...we don't burn tags for a miss....cut your shirt tail yes...but not burn a tag....

I only tag every other deer that way I have plenty to burn in case I miss  you just have to use common sense man!
