My cousin works for Dynamic Research Technologies bullet company. They have been mainly supplying the military with bullets but now are offering hunting rounds. The bullet has a powder core that is exceptionally good due to its accuracy. The damage this bullet makes is amazing. I was with my cousin when he shot a doe with a .223 79gr bullet. It put a hole in it bigger than a 30-06 would do. I was wondering if anyone on here shoots these bullets yet? And if you don't i think you should look into them because they are excellent. Here is the website. http://drtammo.com/

Barnes X has Green Bullets that are acc. and fragible..not what
I want or use as a hunter..I want it to completely penitrate the
animal and leave an exit..I've several pcs. of jacket, ect from
Nosler BT 200 gr. 338 cal that blew up inside of little cull deer...Several mfgs. seem to think that blowing up is what is desired in the killing of any animal....I want to find the darling if I went to the trouble of shooting him...I can follow
blood...and you will have one run occasionally...no mater what you shot them with or where you hit'm..DD

Very interesting. I'd like to try them. Do they have any BC data for the 30 cal bullets?

One thing I did notice in their load data. For a 300 Win Mag with a 200 grain bullet, they list 67.0 grains of Alliant RE-10 to get 2800 fps. This has to be a typo. RE-10 is way too fast for the 300 Win Mag, and would reach pressure long before 67.0 grains. You might want to pass this on. I sent them an email also.

Don't have my data here but have to agree with ya Chad. That looks more like data for Reloader-22 not 10

I think the mainly supplying the military line is a stretch. Maybe intended for the military, but I've never seen them used. Seems like just about every company claims that these days.

Why in the world would you use frangible ammunition on a game animal? Makes no sense at all. Expansion with good weight retention and a good wound channel is the goal.

Correct. But your common hunting bullets do not expand at the sub sonic speeds. They act more like a fmj and drive straight through. So, you need one that will expand or fragment. There are several bullets made specifically for sub sonic use.

Yes, he replied back to me. He said it was data for either R19 or R22.
