you can find a good pic of it on google maps, maybe save it to a thumb drive and have kinkos or someone print it out
If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

Yeah, not sure how well it would blow up to 4 feet without looking bad... depends on the resolution.

Check with the county Farm Service Agency, they used to have all kinds of maps, one should fit your needs or be able to send you in the right direction to get what you want.

Used MyTopo many times with great results. I think you can go to a very large format (5'x8') if needed. Also, you can customize your maps, like a hybrid topo/aerial. Shipping only takes a few days...

Try using Google Earth.
You can zoom in pretty good and print parts of what you need and be able to carry them.
