My and a buddy went out to my family's place to camp and duck hunt for a few days and brought three of our boys along. We had a great time and got a limit in the same lake 4 days in a row. We took mostly gadwalls, a few widgeon, and actually picked up a few mallards. We don't pull too many mallards off this place and I didn't expect them to be down here just yet. I did pick up my first woodie, but it was a hen. We were also able to avoid the ringnecks for the most part and I only took one teal the whole trip. As we were taking down the blind and bringing in the dekes, my buddy spotted a coyote across the lake. He ranged him at 385 and I put about a 1.5 to 2 foot lead on him to compensate for the fierce crosswind coming across the lake. I was surprised to take him down with my AR15. All in all it was a great trip.
