I had a customer of mine tell me that the rut for Fannin and Lamar county is about 10 days off from last year.
Last year I didn't see anything chasing until around the 22nd of Nov. TPWD said the rut should have peaked around the 16th.
Nothing chasing in Fannin County that I have seen..... Any thoughts on when the peak will be this year?

I don't hunt Fannin but I think the true breeding period is yet to happen.Bucks are running and chasing but the girls are a little "late".Boys will be boys.

Oh I am in it everyday! I am using Tinks 69 and keeping downwind....
I hope that a Big Boy steps out to dance and finds my cross hair!
I think I am more ready than they are.... My family is from Chicota by the way. I am a Jordan/McCourt.

I am hoping to see some movement this weekend. I will be in the stand almost all day Saturday and Sunday
