I do not consider myself a BBQ expert, it all seems to taste good to me!!! I like Spring Creek, but what do you like? Wife is out of town, me and my son are going to have a boy's night out and want some BBQ!! So let’s hear it, what’s best!!

Anything but spring creek!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually, I meant to say Sonny Bryans, but I like Spring Creek too!! I got 2 by my house. In the early 70s, we use to ride our bikes to Red Bryans (Sonny’s brother) at Webb Chaple and Lombardy. We still have not decided yet....

My vote is Rudy's, but Eddie Deans is good also.

I have lived here for 10 years and still haven't found a "great" place to eat BBQ in the Metromess. The ones that are decent are Baker's Ribs, Sonny Bryan's, and Hard 8. I was excited when they opened up the Cooper's BBQ in the stockyards, but I was very disappointed in it.
I love BBQ and sometimes wished I lived closer to Lockhart. There are 4 BBQ joints in that small town that are better than any place in DFW.

dickeys is horrible except for the sides

Since the thread reads: ---- Best BBQ Joint in Dallas -
Lockhart for best brisket. Sammy's for best sides. Baker's for best ribs. Hardeman's (Lancaster Road) for sauce. Smoke for new and creative.
