15,000 acres in far west Texas available to hunt blues and gambels quail. 3,000 acres of the ranch is cultivate fields with multiple large water holes/ponds.

First year open to the public to hunt. You guys will not be dissapointed in the bird numbers on this ranch. They have plenty of water, feed, and cover. Good roads a car could drive around on and a beautiful 4800 square foot older southwestern style house/lodge to stay in.

Located less than 15 minutes from Van Horn Texas. Here is a link to the ranch (Shelley) I can create a package for more or less hunters or even add extra days.

Thinking about it. Even with this drought, there's good numbers of blue and bobwhites?

Your not gonna find any Bob's out in that area.....mainly blues and Gambel's...

Would be interested to know the numbers of birds you guys are seeing out that way.....I know that the ranches that I normally quail hunt, we aren't even allowing quail hunting this year...

Spend time with the ones you love. Time is not guaranteed.

If anything we are seeing more numbers due to the drought because we have A LOT of water and feed for the animals in general. It literally is an oasis in the middle of the trans pecos. Half a dozen large ponds plus troughs with 3000 irrigated acres of sudan, alfalfa, and cotton.

I know in a bad year like this it seems crazy but we do have the birds. Anyone interested is more than welcome to come out prior to see the place for themselves. You wont be dissapointed.

And there are only Blues and Gambels no Bobs sorry.
