DEER BY THE FEEDER FOR A REFERENCE SIZE



Just curious what you think he weighs. There's a hog trap just outside the right of the pics. I don't think he'll fit through the gate. LOL Only hog pic I've had in 2 weeks. Trapped about 60 of those bastages.

Don't know what he weighs, but personally figured he'd bust 300 due to his height and width. Guess that's why I don't have a hog huntin show. LOL Anyway, he's the biggest I've ever got on a cam. We've trapped about 60 hogs in the last 6 weeks, and he's the only hog I even had on a cam in the last couple of weeks, and not much sign of hogs on that place anymore. Our traps are spring-loaded upright gates. I don't think he can fit through the door. Need a drop gate to get him. He's only hit the cam once. Hope I either get him shot, or trap him. Currently in pretty good shape on hogs, and have eliminated the coons from jackin with all but one feeder. Won't be long another group of hogs will filter through. So far, so good, right now. This is the only feeder hogs can still get to. We've 100% kept them out of the others, THUS FAR.

Thanks for the input. Didn't really know what he weighed, but my estimates are obviously high compared to the rest of you. Once I get him trapped, or dead, I'll let you know.

we hunt pigs with dogs alot they are very deceiving to tell the weight wild pigs have a lot of leg but are lean that pig would prolly go 180 maybe

BTW, I took the 8 point in that pic out opening morning. That 8 point was a twin. His brother actually has a perfectly symmetrical rack. The dew tine on that one was a bit shorter on the right. Not a big buck, but darn he is tender! I needed some camp meat! LOL The next one to go down is a LF 12 point that's never been caught in a pic at any of the feeders.

The pig is several feet closer to the cam. notice the pile of poo and the relation to both animals.

That said, I think he'll push 250 live weight
