I sat in a blind yesterday in Medina County and I didn't see a sigle deer, hog, or coyote. Prior to last the night the moon has been full, so I'm speculating that maybe the deer have been feeding at night. We'll ssee what it looks like next week. Has anyone had any luck in Medina Couty this season?

Talked to one of my lease partners earlier and he didn't see much movement all weekend. Between the heat, wind, moon, drought, acorns, whatever else, the deer just aren't moving too good in areas of the Hill Country.
I was going to hunt tomorrow but think I'm gonna pass until the moon goes dark and hopefully we get some cooler weather. Now I remember why I quit hunting the Hill Country years ago and went to South Texas. Next year I'll be back hunting the brush country.

Thanks for the feedback and I hope you and your partner have better luck. I plan to go back maybe in a week or two but I'm really looking to going back up to my home in Red River County this weekend.
