Is anyone having problems with trespassers or poachers? It appears to be a problem in Red River County. I'm just amazed at people who show no respect for other folks property.

It seems as this is getting worse every year. Be careful out there.

Big time poacher about 2-3 years ago in Eastland County. Disgusting.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm having a real problem this season and it's not getting any better. I'm basically being challenged over my own land. I've shown extreme restraint. I've reported it to the Game Warden and I really hope he can do something about it.

I own a small hunting property in Red River county and have had HUGE problems with trespassers. Read some of my past posts and you will see some of the issues. I can't keep anything of value on my own property for fear that it will be stolen or destroyed. You have done the right thing by contacting the GW. Benny Richards is the GW that takes care of my area and he has been great. He lives and hunts the area and has for more than 20 years. But he is not from there originally, so he understands what it's like to be considered a non-native and how locals can be disrespectful to those not born there.
Thanks!!!
Matt

I found a bronchial inhaler and a comb in one of my blinds. Since I don't live there I'm sure it happens more than I would like to think.

We had this problem a few years back in Anderson Co, we talked to Game Warden and gave him a key to our gates, told him to come and go any time he wanted / needed to. He was more than willing to help and really appreciated us offering our place to stakeout, hideout, campout. Within a month it all stopped. Sadly enough most of us will experience this as time goes on.
Good Luck
