 Lease Payment question

I ask this because I don't know since I have been fortunate to hunt private lands within the family.
When you are on a lease do you pay yearly or monthly? or is dependent on the land owner?
Never thought to have asked my Uncle but it is to early to call him and his probably in a stand right now.

Can go either way.. Seen one lump sum, monthly & quarterly. It really depends on the place.

Ditto on the owner. A couple I was on would take 1/2 in May, the other 1/2 opening morning. The one I'm on now was all up front
I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.

I pay all up front when I sign the lease.

We pay opening weekend each year just because it's easier that way. But our landowner is fine with half in May and half on opening weekend!

I pay all at once if possible. One I am on now is a two payment set up but I will pay all at once for next year if they will have me back.
