Just curious if everyone else was seeing as many as we were. We killed 12 off our lease in Lampasas County this weekend. All ranging from 20-200 lbs

None, ran traps every day with my father inlaw. He sells them, so i somehow refrain from shooting them now...

I think the hogs have gone extinct in Motley County. I haven't seen one in years, literally. I don't even get pictures of them anymore. It's crazy.

I didn't kill pigs, or a deer, but I did kill a badger. Does that count?

My son picked off two hogs on Saturday. It was his first time to hunt anything other than birds. I am very impressed with Hornady's TAP ammo in 55 gr. .223. It really did a number on the hogs at 100 yards. He ended up with two sows that ran 160 and about 175 respectfully.

Oh, they are there. Most definitely, want me to herd ours your way? Heard a lot of shooting Friday night as well, the pressure is on 'em. Saw a whole bunch in motley this weekend from 6:30-11pm. Some does, too. RyanF tagged one squeeler with his .270 that ran into the canyons and we couldn't track down. Of course, I had a round with a faulty primer on that go-round and ended up with the dreaded "one, two, -click-" so no pig for me. bang My new blind I hadn't gotten to anchor yet also fell... We saw a MASSIVE boar who is on the top of my hit list now, too. Was almost level with my feeder braces (3.5ft) and as long as the legs were wide. A real hoss. up

I kill one at least every day when I check my cow pastures (leased). my deer lease is loaded with them. last week, caught a bunch under my feeder. My Springfield M1A, 6 shots, 5 dead pigs. drug em off for coyote food. dont mess with em, too full of fleas, tick, other parasites for me to mess with.

I shot a buck early Saturday morning. Everybody siad I would be a fool to go back to that same stand that night but I didn't listen. About 10 minutes after getting into the stand 5 hogs came in and I busted one. The same thing happened again yesterday morning!

Last couple of years our hog population had dwindled. But, they're back in big numbers this year. Four out of five hunters took hogs on our lease this weekend. Here's the sow I popped Saturday night. About 80 pounds. Perfect eater.
