Good grief, what a stud! Need some details. What county? Your place or pay hunt? Age?

HOLY COW! If u chased it all day then does that mean u killed it at night. JK
A hunt based on only trophies being taken falls far short of what the ultimate goal should be,time to commune with your inner soul as you share the outdoors with the birds, animals, and fish that live there. -Fred Bear

I thought I had finnally clicked a thread that wasnt going to go into a high fence debate.... Who cares... GREAT BUCK! I don't care but make no mistake about it, it matters a 189 lf is a stud and 189 hf is a run of the mill, no different than 150 in the hill country is a giant but in the panhandle just another nice deer, a trophy from area to area is different so dont tell me it is not a legit question, chased all day and shot in a fence is alot different than hunting all day lf and killing a buck!

Gotta side with BMD here. Not to drag the Poster down but lf vs hf/paid does make a big diff in the relative degree of accomplishment. It's fair to ask.

It doesn't matter what you think about anyone else's deer besides your own. If he is happy with it then it doesn't matter wether it's HF or LF.

Dont you pay money for your.kiddo to kill high fenced pets? Boys, boys boys... I don't think zebras are native to Texas, so it goes without saying that it was a HF hunting experience. I don't think that there is anything wrong with HF, or LF, but the added details of the hunting experience is always nice to read and yes, its very possbily true, that a HF 189 buck is more readily available to acquire, vs a 189" LF buck. It just puts a different perspective on the accomplishment, it's definitely a heck of a buck by any means. Congrats!

Your the punk dogging my daughters zebra in a fence same as your critters in africa and then you make a post like that, go see if daddy can buy you a hf deer too, I defended you when they dogged you on your truck and now I see they were spot on!

Dont you pay money for your.kiddo to kill high fenced pets? Who pulled your string! Lmao don't think too many lf zebras killed in Texas or Africa for that matter. I will spend my money any damn well way I want but I am not the one saying I chased the zebra all day and that is a once in a lifetime zebra but while I was there I could of shot hundreds yes hundreds of wt over 180. If you are gonna brag on score then make it clear lf or hf it matters as to how much of a trophy it is I saw lots of bucks over 300 last week while looking for the zebra that I could have shot and posted for you guys to google over but once I said it was hf you would have called it a pet but if it were lf like every deer on my wall are you would think differently and your a liar if you say not! I never once criticized the deer I asked lf or hf

Let the man tell his story and enjoy his buck. He hasn't even had a chance to tell the story yet. Not talking to anyone in particular but I just want to see a thread about somebody harvesting a nice animal and not getting knocked so hard for it especially when we don't know the full story.
