How does it compare to other animals such as fallow, whitetail, axis, ect?

this has been brought up a lot but it's really good. Everyone has their own take on it but I rate it right up there with elk and that's my favorite.

I'll jump in on this, as Im interested as well. To me the question is... how does it compare to whitetail? I don't care for whitetail, but have liked the axis Ive had. W

My wife and I ate it at least once a day for a couple of weeks down in Argentina and never tired of it. Like someone else said, it tastse just like elk which is fine eating in my opinion.

red deer tenderlion is the best meat i've ever had. maybe it was the way it was cooked.. i do like axis meat better than red deer though
