But I shot a badger. It was about 9:30 in the morning. I was in my blind, kicking my self in the arse for not shooting the pretty nice 9 point I saw at daylight, and I noticed this tanish, gray blob moving towards my pen. I pulled my binos up, and caught a glimpse of his striped face. I had to do a little research to make sure he was legal (I was pretty sure he was, but just wanted to be responsible). All I had was a .270 and a Glock 23. I found the blob in my scope, and BANG. I waited a bit, then headed down to check out the kill. Pretty cool little critter. He is gonna make a fine lifesize mount. Anyone got any pic of their badger mounts? I'm gonna need some ideas.

Nice, several guys on here have a mount. There is an old thread in the photos section here from this summer with some pics. If not you will get some tonight. BMD has a really good mount of a badger.

I saw one yesterday driving down our fenceline. Sadly it was on the wrong side so I could not shoot it. I did shoot one 3 years ago only about 50 yards from where I saw the badger yesterday.

Mike Billington's most recent mount was cool, but he is too far for me to take into him. I wish he was closer. I've got a couple different people to talk to right now. Their prices start from $300 to $500. We shall see what they say.

I killed one recently and posted pics here. Unfortunately, he was not worth mounting. His coat wasn't thick and pretty like yours and the others that were mounted. I hope I get a chance at another someday. Those mounts are so cool! Good luck with yours

my wall mount, i went with the halfway closed/growling look
