My mom wants to learn how to shoot and hunt. She and her sister always do 1 thing a year that they have never done before this year is shooting and hunting. I showed her how to shoot a week ago and now next Friday she wants me to take her hunting. I got the ok from the land owners to take her so wish us luck. She has shot a rifle 1 time back when she was about 14 Y/O but only 1 shot, now out of 18 shots she missed only 2 all others she hit where she wanted to. after about 1 hr of me showing her what to do. I will take her out 2 to 3 more times to shoot before then. But on Friday she and I will be in my stand at about 2:30 pm ready to go. I will post pics of her deer WHEN SHE GETS IT. Where I hunt at there is a lot of smaller ones 2 to 3 Y/O but she said that would be good for her.

She told me "on the day of the hunt the 1st deer that I can legally shoot tell me, then remind me where to shot it." I told her there are a lot of 2 to 3 year olds out there and they will be about 60 to 80 lbs after I field dress it and she was real happy about it.

very cool, I took my 70 year old mom to the range last year and she shot my LaRue OBR. Loved it as hardly any kick and she shoots great with it. She shot a deer last time 50 years ago. My dad was a bird only hunter, so we never got after the deer. I took her to my deer lease last year, but didn't see anything. Taking her back out again around Thanksgiving. I would love for her to get a deer or at least a hog.
