Any one put the smack down yet? What's your count so far this season and what's your location?

Bachelors groups still spotted and deer are not hitting feeders anyone else have reports?

North Hopkins here. Only had time to hunt yesterday morning. Saw 15+ does coming in to feeder and a couple small 4 points. Nothing I care to shoot yet. I will probably take a doe later in the season so my wife can cook breakfast sausage for me :-)

In the mean time I will wait for Grandpa buck to come my way. We just bought this place and it's my first year on it so I am happy to sit and watch.

They lay around at my in-laws like cattle and we can't take one.

NW county. Seen some does and 2 bucks. One did not meet ARs but the other did. My son took him as his first buck. It was a nice 12pt in the mid 120's.

Man, I can't post this pic enough...

Took my first buck that just meet AR. Only took 5yrs and he was barely legal. Dont want to start a ar bashing thread but its done nothing but ruin the hunting here in my area.

Me too. My first buck was a barely legal 8 pt and it also took me 5yrs. Not going to comment on ARs.

Deer movement was real slow on the ranch this weekend in north hopkins co. Usually see 30-40 deer a day, only saw a handful the whole weekend while working.

saw deer everywhere on Saturday, Sunday AM was a little slower but the bucks were after the does. I am seeing alot of little bucks so far. I shot a big doe for meat and one of the other guys shot a 8 pt 4 or 5 yr old deer and about 160lbs on the hoof.
