Definitely there mods. We have it good over here. Some of the guys over there are helpful but most are smart asses. And if it ain't Colt it ain't no good mentality gets old.

I think y'all have quenched my thirst for the answer. Almost every friend I have owns an AR but none of us say stupid crap or have a stupid opinion about them all. We'll tell you what we shoot, if we like it or not & give a RECOMMENDATION if someone asks. I guess that's what sets us apart. Were not here, there or anywhere to impress people, just help them. I collect the finest battle rifles in the world: the Lee Enfield No.1MkIII and No.4MkI. Thousands of dead Germans, Italians, Japanese, Arabs and North Koreans can't be wrong.

It's also funny to see alot of them at the range with their super duper fancy guns and they do not have the skills to shoot them properly, be it AR, rifle or handgun.

WHat I think is funny is they will brag on the AR that they paid 2K for and then break out a High Point pistol and start shooting it!

Or what's funnier to me is to see someone buy a nice AR then throw on a bunch of cheap UTG junk on it. Or throw a cheap Tasco or BSA reddot on it.

AR's by brands are pretty crazy.... Colt, Bushmasters, Smith, and Sigs all run great for us routinely; Have had good DPMS and Rock River's and Double Star's....

I also can't see spending the fortunes some spend on "custom" guns either...

Same here. I would much rather just build a frankengun, so everything is exactly how I want it, rather than getting a factory and adjusting it to my tastes.

Sig owners for sure! I love my Sig 226's, but have to admire the Glocks and other quality guns even if I don't own them. Guys can be like women sometimes. "oh my gosh you bought a WHAT?". Pretty entertaining...
