Lows in the 40's and highs in the 70's here. Wish it were going to be cooler, but it'll still be a pretty weekend. High in the mid 60's Friday.
They're calling for a low of 34 tonight and a high of 54 tomorrow here. Wish that would carry into the weekend, minus the wind.
Whatever it's gonna be, I just wish to heck it would hurry up and get here! I'm goin stir crazy! LOL

Yesterday was 32 hours long, today has already been 35 hours and the days are getting longer. Will Saturday morning ever get here ? !

Yesterday was 32 hours long, today has already been 35 hours and the days are getting longer. Will Saturday morning ever get here ? ! X2 This is the second time I've said that today! Can't wait. Got all my gear in the garage ready to load up.

Gusting to 45 mph here right now. I think the front's hit. LOL They're now calling for our first freeze tomorrow night. Leaves will be droppin soon.

It's going to be 40 Friday night where I'm hunting. That's not cold for a deer, but it's cold for my ridiculously wussy sleeping bag. 60 degrees on Saturday night will feel a little better, but it might keep the deer from moving much.

Shucks, with this little cold spell I may have to put my hawaiian shirt with the palm trees, my cargo shorts, and flip flops back up and wear a shirt & jeans with some boots.

Well, crap. Forecast changed from 10 MPH winds on Saturday to 20-30 mph winds. That's more like a normal opening day. LOL

East Texas is supposed to get some rain on Sunday so despite the warm temps on Saturday, they may be moving

doubt it...just saying. Its been that kinda year for me. Late getting on the lease(Aug) and no deer on either place during the day. And its been windy every time I had a chance to bow hunt. Hope it gets better
