Nothing yet. The bucks are still running together. So far they're only chasing the doe away from the feeders.

Should break loose any day. We are seeing some scrapes showing up. No chasing as of last weekend.

Yep. Still no change this past week. The really bad thing is that I haven't seen a single legal buck in the last two years.

I'm north of y'all in Leon County. During youth weekend we saw a significant increase in scrape and rub activity. The bucks were not yet tailing the does. We saw 8 does and three bucks... the smallest buck seemed a little interested but was not on any of the does tails yet. Should fire up any day.

I hunt in Woodlake and was there from last Thursday to Sunday. I saw a lot of bucks starting to chase does. I had a spike and an 8pt interested. Here at home in Houston county they are starting up too. Filmed a nice 9pt chasing doe yesterday morning in our wheat field just behind the house. He had neck stretched out and trotted a little then went back to eating and did this several times. Also had a spike out chasing them much harder - running them around. I keep a diary in Woodlake and started seeing signs of the rut on Oct. 30 last year. From all the research I've done it usually happens about the same time every year. My husband saw 4 different bucks make a scrape in same place a week ago in Woodlake. Like taking5kidshunting says should start up good any day.
