Dad just looked at two 400+ acres places he really likes in Knox Co. which is Northwest of Throckmorton. One is on the East side of Knox and the other is central Knox. Does anyone know what kind of deer come out of these areas?

I hunted a place on the river in knox a few years ago. It had the biggest deer I have ever saw. Loved the place ,It got sold and we lost it.

Some good ranches. Its getting like a lot of the north Texas/Panhandle areas with way too many hunters on small places. Be careful if it is overloaded with hunters. There arent deer numbers like the hill country.
