Isn't technology great, i can look at the forum while in a blind, check email, text, whatever Can just about work while I hunt. I downloaded the coyote caller last year and never had success, however this year it worked. I saw someone else on the forum beat me to the punch on this one with the iKill and was respirited. So, I take the boys Hog hunting Saturday as neither are big enough to shoot. So we are in the blind and I see a yote walk by my feeder and by the time I could get my gun up it was gone. SO my mind starts turning, fewer deer on the game cam over the last week and a half, a pic of a yote on the game cam, and a sighting within 50 yards as I was filling the feeder. Hmmm I thought, this thing is living by my feeder and using it as a hunting ground. So about 20 minutes after seeing the yote, I turn on the coyote caller app, high pitch squeal....wait....the turn on the coyote howl and catch movement behind the feeder, out pops the yote, looking hard in my direction. I tell the boys to cover there ears and BOOM. Dead Yote. Probably the coolest yote kill I've ever had!

She was very healthy, may have been cleaning up on coons, birds, and rabbits coming to the feeder. I hope she was the only one living around my feeder and the deer will re appear now

Man they were super pumped. We were hog hunting so I didn't want to get out and go get it right away, they were giving high fives and knuckles and hugs. I just wish they could have seen it before I shot. But she was behind some brush and I just caught her movement as she walked out, all I could see was head and front shoulders when I let her have it. They made me load it and bring it home to show momma and sissy.

O and I posted this on facebook and one of my friends saw it and did nearly the same thing yesterday. Were hunting with her kids and saw a yote got into the woods so she downloaded the app and hit it and it came back out and got the bullet.

Just go to the Market if you have a droid and search coyote call, should be a similar process with the iphone.

Very cool! There are several apps for the iPhone as well... always wondered if they would really be effective. I'm sold and ready to give it try! Isn't technology grand!

I wish I had that app this past weekend. I had a bobcat pass my bow stand within 25 yards but couldn't get a shot. I didn't have my fox pro with me, but I did have my phone.

Your son holding the yote by the ear is a priceless picture! Wonder what was going through his young mind?
