i took my son hunting yesterday during youth season and he passed a couple of does in hopes of a buck but we didn't see any bucks. he is itching to shoot something and wanted to take a doe this afternoon as long it was legal. so i read my outdoor anual and i can't figure out if it's legal to shoot a doe or not. can any one help me figure this out? here is Robertson county's page http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/huntwild/hunt/season/county_listing/details/?county=Robertson. any help is greatly appreciated.

Special Youth-Only Season: Early open season: Oct. 29-30, 2011. Late open season: Jan. 2-15, 2012.

That means those two days for youth are the same as the 24-27 doe days for adults. Same rules apply.

That means whatever the rules are Nov 24 ~ 27 are what the rules are for the kids during early or late youth season
