You know Jason, I never thought you could be so harsh to us no bowhuntin' fellas. It's almost like your holding a grudge against, and we aint even wounded an animal on your high fence place, yet

Thanks for the offer texasd, however, if the does aren't coming out, you can't killem and grillem. I had a friend come out last weekend just to shoot a doe...he went home empty handed. I even tried putting protein out as an attractant and that didn't even help.
If you shoot a young deer because a neighbor will shoot it, you are that neighbor.

TCH, I have 3 places that are high fenced that I am working on to sell exotic hunts (bow only). The landowner does not want anything, but bowhunters. These places range from 200 acres to 650 acres. They would all be very challenging to get an animal with a bow. I think that topography as well as feeding regime and normal routine on the ranch play important factors into how easy or hard a hunt can be. I know a guy that used to drop off his deer hunters at their blinds and as he "got far enough away from the blind to be safe" he would honk the horn to let the hunters know he was out of range. Little did the hunters know that everyday when he went by the feeder on his way out from the feeders, he honked the horn to call the deer in. Routine on the ranch can make or break a good hunt and good experience.
