The latest at our place. Deer are hitting the feeders hard and bucks are sure looking for that special someone. Greened up a bit and outlook for us is better than usual. The fires got close but we were spared. Pigs are coming on strong and I think we will be throwin lots of lead this season. Good luck to all.

Memarkers, what part of Coke county? Just wondering how close the pigs are to me. I dont have any at my place (north of Bronte). I like not having to worry about them yet, but figure sooner or later they'll be there.

Was amazed at all the sprouting stuff last weekend in response to his month's rain.

We are halfway between Robert Lee and Water Valley. The first few years I was on the place I never saw a pig. Now we see pigs nearly every time we hunt. Our policy is to take a shot at every pig we see. Hadn't made a dent.

We are about 20 miles north of Bronte - never seen a pig out there until a couple a months ago when the fires pushed em onto our place.

Yep. On the divide with several draws that come up from the North.

Good to know you don't see em yet either. Its so dry where i am that im hoping they continue to find it unappealing.

Did some bowhunting weekend before last. Deer look pretty good at my place but no decent bucks and look quite good at my leased pasture W of Blackwell. Have pics of a good 10 in my lease pasture during daylight so Im lookin forward to the gun opener.
