So getting ready to head out to hunt deer on the public lands here in NW Florida frown time to get a climbing stand. Summit and API have been recommended to me, but I really don't have the $300-400 to drop on a stand at the moment. Is there a huge difference (i.e. $200-300 difference) in those compared to a generic stand from Academy? Its not going to get much use as I can only make it out on weekends, and maybe every other weekend at best. I know its my [censored] up in the tree, but if the Academy one does the job just as well or pretty close, I'd much rather spend $99 instead.

I have a Gorilla climber for $125, ( sorry no picture ) it is not the Stealth , but the basic green model with a full body harness. It has a 300 lb. wt. limit. Folds and packs really easy and has a cable lock instead of the blade that cuts into the tree. Message me if interested.

Hawkeye I am in Florida so shipping would probably be a problem. I found the Gorilla Greyback at Bass Pro for $150. Would I be better off with that Viper? I'm 6'4 and 220.
