Headed out to Iron Spike Kennels tomorrow to pick up my dog and I think I might not sleep a wink tonight.

My wife has said that I am almost as excited as when we were waiting for our kids to be born. I don't think so, but she had to convince me to not wake the kids up at the crack of dawn to get on the road...

Well then.... here's a little something to keep you going. lol You haven't seen this short little video yet. Moose learning to run a blind retrieve on a dead bird. Hey, he'll be 4 months old on Saturday, by the way - the kids can celebrate his "birthday!"

Wind was blowin'.... SHHHHHHHhhhhhhhh. (Listen closely to the video - you can hear it on the speaker and see the grass blowin' - great way to build a first-timer's confidence and teach 'im to trust his nose!) wink

Moose is happily on his way to his new home as I type. You should have seen the big smiles on those kids' faces... Still, they weren't as big as DAD's!!!

Well, I can't remember how to post pics blush but I know more than a few have been snapped!

He has adjusted better than expected! I thought that 4 kids, new house and lack of acreage might really have him playing the role of a recluse, but he seems very happy and interacts with all the kids wonderfully.

You definately did a solid job on household manners, no jumping and he has quickly learned 'house specific' rules. Friday afternoon he decided the cofee table looked like a good chew toy, no bueno for my wife. Two stern verbal only corrections was all it took, he has not touched it since then...this is the same scenario for a delicious looking plant and rug. He learns quick & is more than willing to please.

Great start to a new beginning....the family (especially me) is thrilled. Thanks again! up
