Anyone know approximately how long those 5 gallon hanging feeders last before having to fill them back up?

Depends on how much is distributed each time. I have a 5 gal. feeder with corn feeding once a day for 1 second and it will last, if the coons do not get into it, up to 2 weeks or longer.

I have one set up on one of my hog traps and it feeds twice a day. It lasts about a week.

Too many variables to say....funnel height, sqirrels, wind, motor speed...... Next time you're out there, test it throwing into a bucket and see how many "feedings" you get out of it.

I have the 5 gallon American Hunter feeder and with feeding once a day at the minimum time, which seems to be about 2 seconds, it will last around three weeks. That is if the coons don't get to it.
