Navasota,

Y'all are on the MLD Level 3 as I understand it and I have one question: out of curiosity, do y'all receive enough buck permits in any given year so that every member of your club has the opportunity to harvest a buck, or are some members just SOL?

By the way they are AWESOME bucks.

This ranch was a buisness operation that brought guest in to do these hunts...i just managed the ranch and guieded....we recieved a minimum of 25 buck tags to fill and a max of 35...even with hunting every weekend with up to 40 guest durrin some hunts...the average harvest number was around 25 to 30 most years.

That deer was taken by a guy named Greg(Buckey),yes that was his nickname before he shot that deer. He hunts a stones throw away from me, we camp with the same guys down the road. I'm assuming that's the deer you're talkin about. Grossed @ 179 7/8 lf free roaming deer. It's the only one I know of from our area that big from last year.
